Saipan is an island in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, or "CNMI" for short. Saipan is north of the Island of Rota, which is the sothernmost island in the CNMI. Rota island has many fine features that help to contribute to the CNMI as a major tourist destination.
